Looks like a F18-VF20 coin in a PCGS EF 40 holder, not surprising, par for the course for this TPG. Until PCGS adopts stricter standards there's money to be made moving these Victoria coins from ICCS to PCGS holders. thedollarman Pillar of the Community Canada 4911 Posts	Posted 06/02/2026 12:18 am The PCGS trueviews show a much more original and detailed looking coin than the above images do, with that said I would still not call the coin EF. It is also worth noting that many 1870 halves have a very weakly struck reverse, some MS examples have weaker reverse legends than the circulated coin shown above. Feel free to call me Will.
