mcshilling Pillar of the Community Canada 9149 Posts	Posted 12/20/2025 10:57 am This coin has what appears to be die chips on it, I have tried Verdi-Care and a tooth pick but they will not move. How would you attribute this coin, thanks. Report this Post to the Staff

The only thing that comes to mind is that a die physically crumbled to mush and a few pieces remained in the striking (chamber)? As for attribution I am not familiar with large cent varieties, perhaps one of our resident experts will help you with that.
