The worst thing I did was to try and artificially tone a Morgan and I found out it's not a good idea, lucky it wasn't a good example but all the same it was a Morgan .

I once paid off a bet in pennies. I stacked them in a mold and then poured jello over them and let it harden. The guy was wondering why I was bringing over jello and then he looked harder at it and he busted out laughing.

Cents in a rock tumbler. After weeks in there they look really worn.

We use to have a Dalmatian aka as a kitchen hound. Tossed her several pieces of hamburger, then a nickel that was on the table. I'm confident everything worked out all right.

Well, hey, most of the other stuff I've done, and a couple of things I taint, has already been mentioned.

70 million years from now an ant with a metal detector will be flummoxed by that dogosaurus poop.

I've seen coins laminated to bars and stuck in concrete.
For the most part I just spent them.
Comparatively speaking...to date, the strangest thing I have ever done with coins is collect them.
Ok maybe I have been know to use the side of a coin as a screwdriver

Taped clad quarters to a piece of plywood and shot them with a .22 as of yesterday. Bullets didn't go threw but turned the quarter into a funny looking bowl.

As tempted as I might be to specifically contribute to this topic, I am still somewhat fearful to list the oddest thing. I will say that it involved a Kennedy half, my current wife, a duck, and may be illegal in 38 states. That's about all I can say on this one.....
