I want to deliver $2,500 in pennies (250,000 pennies) to someone in San Diego (as an inside joke). Where can I buy that many (the local banks only will sell me 4 boxes of $25 each?

Perhaps you could go directly to the mint reserves. I don't know if they sell them that way, but it might be worth a shot.
