DL20K Pillar of the Community Poland 3201 Posts	Posted 07/13/2009 4:43 pm Found in a lot of tokens and similar things, very small, no date. Both sides the same. Says SPIELGELD RECHENMUNZE. There also were some like this, this one's quite weird since it has an outline of the "2" (backwards) visible behind the leaves.. I think it's some kind of error And a few had visible.. Mechanical Doubling, I suppose Some have dates, from 1949 up to 1989. Some bear similarities to Bundesrepublik coins. The question is, what are they and what were they used for? Those pieces (the actual coin in the first image) were introduced in 1923, after the inflation, and were legal tender (though rare and basically worthless) until 1948.
