Something else to note- All the coins I am giving away are straight from my personal hoard. Like I described in my introduction. I dont have to spin any elaborate BS story about some farmer and milk-jug, or a hidden floor in an abandoned farmhouse. No super old neighbor that gives me rolls of old pennies for cleaning his yard etc etc etc. I just really enjoy coppers and buy in bulk for myself on rainy days or to enjoy searching. You have no idea how hard it was to scoop out without looking. It is SO hard I had to do it basically in a darkened room so I couldn't see what I was pulling. I have pulled many Cuds, BIE's, and all different years from these bags. Now I naturally can't promise a SVDB or 14d in the lot, but the fact I can't rule it out is what kills me... I appreciate the boards and feel good about helping my fellow copper lovers out with this contest. Please to those that win, post your finds. I CAN AND WILL say I KNOW they are a full mix and fully expect someone to find something at very least will make me kick myself...

G-force, Very nicley done. This is where the two images saved yer butt. One image looks as if they are leaning against it but then the other angle vindicates the stack as being free standing. Picture is a little blurry to count coins so we will have to take your word at the 140 but also with a note of it being a very impressive 8 and 3/8th inch tall in case it comes down super to a photo finish. We have a new horse pulling in the front folks. Will this stack take home the grand prize? ----------- I said I would add another mini prize to be anounced this evening. Contest for the grand prize ends on August 15th at noon. This is yet another mini prize that will be for highest stack as of Thursday at midnight. We have some great stackers and some real effort coming into it now. I feel I should reward this. I will add a the following as this next mini prize. The four coins as shown will go to the highets as of Thursday at midnight. Worth giving it a go? -Happy stacking everyone-

I am a recently joined member here myself. But I have spent hours reading. learning, and refreshing my memory through these boards. Many years I collected completely separate from any clubs or groups so it is a sort of coming out of my shell with joining this site. This contest is only the first of many I plan on hosting. Being honest it is more for selfish reasons.
It is a great feeling to relive moments through other members. For instance reading about how someone got their first key date and how exited they are. Reliving finding your first BIE or Double ear etc really does give me the warm fuzzy feelings. It gives me great satisfaction to share my collection with people that appreciate it. I remember well how hard it was when in the beginning to get ahold of particular coins. BS bags of worthless wheats that were all 40s and 50s was a very painful way to learn.
So as corny as it sounds, I am getting more from this contest than anyone else. I am on pins and needles for what someone might find in the rolls and coins. Even though I have hundreds of pounds sitting unsearched to go through myself I am more exited about what might become someones proud new crown jewel of their collection. I am happy to give to the site and help promote it through its membership ranks.
I am very grateful to the site for what it has re-sparked in me for this hobby.
I wish everyone participating the very best of luck.

I noticed a fire extinguisher in the image. Does it have something to do with AXE body spray, or is your motherboard overheating? Congrats on the second attempt to stack. I believe you have 140 there! You have nerves of copper!
