Got my 2009 silver proof sets yesterday, and as these were the first proof set I oreder with the President coins, went to my Red Book to get a little more info. Page 229 of the 2010 RedBook has the 2009 President coins listed, but they are listed as 2008. Is my RedBook worth more than the 15 clams I paid, and will I be able to retire if I sell my RedBook?

it's a joke, he's wondering if he'll be able to retire if he's the only one that has that kind, or error of RedBook, and can sell it for a large sum of money

there are a few people I have seen on some forums that buy the RedBook just to try to find all the errors, it seems they have a few each year. If one book has the error chances are pretty good every RedBook printed will have the same exact error because I don't think they care very much about the errors

I noticed this also and thought that it was a rarity until I went back to Borders and found that the error was in every book they had.

Bryans right , the 2009 has quite a few mistakes as well. You would think after all the years they could get it right even if it is a huge undertaking.
Perhaps they dont sweat it too much as id imagine few ever actually read the Red Book cover to cover,so we might only ever see a few mistakes when the reality is its a safe bet there are many.
