One of these sets came into my possession today. Haven't seen much about them on the forum in quite a while. Have the prices come back to normal?

MorgansRmine, I hope this message finds you well, long time since we spoke, I have had this Sweet set for years and while the price I paid was strong, the set has declined in price since I have had it, it is still a strong priced set Numismatic News Price Guide, (realistic) about $300.00,Rev proof-at $175.00 alone it has declined, BE WELL, Mike....

I bought 20 of these when they became available at the Mint (had to use my sisters address for 10 of them because of the 10 set maximum) and still have like 3 or 4 sets still in original packaging, I gave out the rest as Christmas presents to family members which was pretty good because I paid 100.00 a piece for the sets and by Christmas time they were already worth about 300.00 so everyone was real happy with their presents and I got out looking like I was a big spender that year when I had only actually spent 1/3 of what the coins were worth. I haven't even looked to see what the set is bringing in about a year or so but I still love the way the set looks and even constructed a few coin collectors out of some family members with these things so it was a win/win

Prices have come down for the un-slab 2006 sets.

Graded from un-opened sets are still at a premium.

Hi Mike, all is well and getting better every day.

Bryan your right, they do make nice x-mas presents. Except for the 3 year old, my grandchildren are beginning to appreciate them now. Couldn't see buying another toy that they get more pleasure playing with the box it came in than the toy itself.

Turns out I did alright for my seventy five though. Thanks guys.
