I am a little confused. I was at an auction this afternoon and they had a 1965 proof set, in the cellophane with the envelope from the mint. The Red Book does not list any proof or mint sets from 65. It went pretty cheap but I was afraid to bid on it.

Anybody got any info?

1965-1967 there were no proof sets, instead they made Special Mint Sets (SMS)
