It is nice to see that the American Publication World Coin News is using the recent Canadian actions to "Call to Arms" the American Collectors. The "Hobby Protectin Act" was well intended, but has no bite. The next year or so should be interesting.

Perhaps the "Canadian actions" need to expand and embrace some of the giftware coins the RCM is making.... putting constraints on the designs and a cap on the kind of items that can be called "money"....

Too many people have lost far too much money on these "coins" over the past 30 years or so... hundreds of millions by now...

Yes they put out a lot of over priced crap and like you say worthless a few years later. I'll stick to PL year sets and business strike coins.
