Cracked Open My First Slabbed Coin.

Dkillett Valued Member United States 140 Posts	Posted 09/21/2009 01:13 am Picked up a 1962 Franklin Proof 64 Cam on ebay last week for $15. Decided that was cheap enough to crack it out of the Anacs slab and put it in my book. New Anacs slab was really easy, just inserted a large flat tip screwdriver into one edge and twisted. Back popped right off. Sorry I do not have any pics as my camera is on the fritz again. (Guess its time to invest in a new one, LOL.) My second one was also a franklin that I paid $160.00 for. That one really spooked me; I really would have been unhappy had I messed up the coin. Anyway, I have cracked three now with three more in the safe to be cracked. I am waiting for about a month when I get my birthday present-a dremel, if my wife has been paying attention.
