Started a new collection of Mercury dimes. I have been looking for A Guide Book of Mercury dimes ( Red Book). I have the one for morgans, lincolns, jeffersons (on order from barnes and nobel) but cannot find one for dimes nor can I find any reference to there being one. Anyone know for sure if there is one or not? And if not, why not? I guess I just thought there would be one for most coins.

I found this on Google but have no idea what it is or what it's like. Odd thing you should mention this though. I'm a sort of Mercury dime nut and have possibly over 3,000 of them. At many coin shows I go to there are always individuals with tables full of books and stuff for and about coins. Yet now that you bring this up, I don't remember ever seeing a book about Mercury dimes or I would have bought one. Now I too will start looking. Don't know why I never did before. I'll start asking at coin shows too. I go to so many I've gotten to know dealers well so they may start looking for me too.
