I was wondering if anyone recognizes and has any info on this metallic disc. I think it looks like a token:

I don't recognize that specific medallion, but it looks to me like a survey marker. You know, the kind that is plante in the ground as a survey reference point.

It is a land survey marker that delineates the border, U.S.&C.B. is United States and Canadian Border Survey.

I see these all the time in the mountains. They represent surveyor marks seen on USGS maps.
