Joe: This coin looks interesting. The L shows die wear/die flow next to the rim area. But the IB looks like there is notching going on. Maybe some more shots of that area of LIBERTY, IN and The date. Include as many letters are you can on LIBERTY as it helps to show the overall affect on the area in question. I'm not saying this is your die that made your coin, but as a teaching aid it will show that the letters should show the same wideness, or it may not show the same wideness as your coin. The letters are hubbed sometimes in different ways and the result may be seen different from die to die. Note on this die, the letters of the LIBERTY are the same wider width? http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds On a different die, the date is affected and not the LIBERTY. http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds On another die only certain areas of LIBERTY might be affected: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds So it might take a wider view to see what is going on with your coins die. So the extra images may help to see what we need or show what is not there. So please include more?
Will do COOP. it's good to hear from you. and, thanks for putting up with me, It's all downhill from here! thanks for ALL of your help. And keep your eyes open for (What I'm pretty sure is ) a "RARE" cent from the early 90's on the rev!
