sorry bout that wrong pict, here's the right one.
D is FAT and sunk in a bit of a well.extra letter /number profiles are rounded, but just does'nt look right. whats the story here?

I am not sure but I dont think rpm,s are possible in 1993. I think in 1990 they were added to the master die

Does Machine Doubling show a split serrif such as the D mint mark on this coin?thanks

the split serif you are seeing is flat not raised giving a good indication its just machine doubled

What happened to the D MM that was pictured with the 1993?.the MM now pictuered is from a different coin.Maybe a 1983?

sorry, I had two picts reversed in two posts. This the correct picture . the first one was incorrect.

I would say that the D is worn on the die with plating problems! plus some post mint damage. just my opinion

1. RPMs are not possible after 1989.

2. Notching would not be possible on Machine Doubling, but would be possible on a 1993D cent if it's a doubled die.

3. This coin is normal and has no collectible issues.
