Wheezy was right, it did not sell. With an opening bid of $799, I have decided that this is where the "final" price has fallen. Whether the or not the coin sold is usually irrelevant if the goal is to see how close we are to a current market price for a coin. This round's guesses ranged from $0 to $1650, with an average of almost $955. I have no problem that the coin did not sell, as long as there is a reasonable high bid on the coin. Well, I hate to cut my own throat here.........but I knew the minimum opening bid on this coin, didn't think it would sell & put $799 down as a guess figuring if anyone bid it would be at the opening price. I think we should do the round over. Quote:

Anything I have left I either bought on the forum, which means the price is available to anyone that searches, or it's common stuff with a narrow range of market prices. I do think we should limit ongoing auctions to ones that have a low starting price. Even if the reserve wasn't met we would still know what an acceptable sale price was. |
