ebay went dead today (11/21/2009) about 2:00pm C.T. Scary if you have anything listed. I can never remember this happening in the past...........  Edited to add date.

so what happens if you have an item ending? surely ebay would have to extend the time otherwise sellers might get stuck with a bid that might have been raised but couldn't be with the system down...and buyers might not have a chance to put in a final bid. Hope it works out for all! |

You can still bid if you are "Watching" the item, or if you have it in your favorites.

I bet ebay is going to have plenty of angry sellers (rightfully so.) I don't remember seeing anything about it being down for maintenance. |

Apparently they are having problems with their search and store view functions. It must be pretty bad because they changed their message on their call center help line. This looks bad, they are going to either change a massive amount of auctions or owe a HECK of a lot of people money.

I was able to get a great deal on one of the coins I was watching. I will completely understand if the seller tries to void the sale.

I reported the problem to ebay that day. Yesterday I received a 10% off code on any item from ebay. |
