I have completed this set some time ago, but decided to upgrade some of the more worn coins in the set. I just got these two dates, a 1917 and a 1918-S on ebay for what I think was a pretty good price. Wondered what your opinion is as to grade and euye appeal based on the seller's pictures? I don't have them in hand yet.

I'd say about the same. Not sure about the 1917 from the photo though. Appears to be blurry around the date or just a bad photo.

Thanks Carl and Coinyoungsta. I agree on the grades, provided the coins look the same in hand. I will let you know.

Got the 1917 yesterday and it was really nice. A strong AU-50 with some mint luster. One of those rare occasions where gambling on a poor ebay picture pays off. Carl, the date and makers intial are completely sharp.
