Any information on this. The medal is 40mm in diameter and weighs 28.03 grams in, I believe, copper-nickel. The obverse has a colored image of both sides of a Series 1934 $1000 FRN. The reverse on each side. This side also has a hallmark that looks like a crowned G within a you (see image). I found on the web this was a German medal maker's mark but lost the info and can't find it by googling now.

I don't know anything about it but Grover is one of my favorite Presidents. Simply for the fact he is the only non-consecutive two term President.

1000 bank note grover cleveland series 1934 coin - I have one. Did you ever find any information on the coin?

How odd, the globe on the reverse is more centered on Canada than the US

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I have information about the hallmark. As mentioned by @hon in a recent thread, it is the Bavarian Mint, "Bayerisches Münzkontor".

I didn't find this specific coin for sale on their website, but note that it seems very much on brand for them.
