I have a 1904 Newf 20 cent. Charlton as far back as 10 years ago says that the die axes is standard rotation - 180 degrees.
My coin axes is medallic. Is this common, is Charlton wrong, do I need more sleep? Does anyone have knowledge that can shed some light on this for me sil vous plait.
this years charlton shows that the 1904 20 cent should be a rotated die axis. Same as US coins are today. Is that what you have? I do not see a listing for any type of variety at least not by charlton. maybe someone could check charest for you if they have it. mine is not with me.
So ...the stated up/down in Charlton should be the standard for this coin is that what you are saying coinsrfun? 'Cause this coin is not what Charlton states and has stated over the years so I think that rules out a one off typo.
