Somewhere in my newbie past I read that 1971-p nickels carried a premium ...... so I've set them all aside as I prowled through my 3340+ rolls to date .....

Now I am buried in them ...... well over 3 rolls of circulated '71-p .....

Am I being an idiot to save these?

I appreciate and value all replies.

Thanks

David

numismedia.com shows a slight premium for them in grades above AU 53 but I don't know why! Premiums appear to be just a few cents until ms 60 grade.

I'd save the nice ones and release anything below AU back into circulation.
