USArmyParatrooper Pillar of the Community United States 1283 Posts	Posted 01/05/2010 11:09 pm I just began my first stab at treasure hunting Lincolns (as per my other thread). Next I want to try my hand at mining for silver. What are the box quantities for the other denominations? Also what would you suggest? Some people on here say they've had good luck with half dollars. Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 01/07/2010 12:55 pm Bags are basically 100 rolls and a box is half a bag. Dollars are a bit of an odd item though. With the old Ike dollars and older coins a bag was $1000 and a roll was $20. (They didn't have boxes at the time.) When the SBA came out a bag was $2000 and a roll was $25 and a box was ten rolls. (There may be other box sizes as well, I don't know.) Report this Post to the Staff
