Three more from the $1 bucket, I think I'm getting better at finding good notes (now presented in non-defaced super-HD) Giant Russian Imperial banknote, easily covering up your average American proof set. Why are there so many worn Russian notes in Canada? Who knows? From the Republic of China, I haven't fully attributed it. This was only printed on one side and the quality is a bit off - year 38 is 1949 in our calendar. In October 1949, the People's Republic of China was established. The plain Republic was forced to Taiwan, where it remains today (and claims all of China as its territory). So, this would be one of the very last notes of a mainland-based Republic of China - I'll have to look up what it's worth beyond historical significance (probably not much). This Allied occupation note is worn-out. But it has a signature on it! Signed notes from June 1945 must mean something to somebody. John, I have your note. Please contact me to discuss its safe return.

The one from Taiwan is a 2 Fen note issued in 1983. A 5 Fen note (unifaced also) was issued at the same time. They are not listed in Krause.

Romania 1999, 2000 Lei Very nice bank note, colourful and the first polymer banknote of Europe. You can see the Romanian map with the national flag colors and the total solar eclipse. ]

Northern Ireland issue date was October 8, 1999 and Romanian issue date was August 11, 1999 that's why Romania issued the first European polymer.

Thanks for the information. The modern notes are not my area. I prefer older bills for my collection. My main areas are the USA, Scotland, Germany and Northern Ireland. The Canada Series 1954 I have of course, unfortunately only up to $ 100.

My main countries are Peru, Israel and Canada(starting with). Then I collect also bills with currency less that 1 unit(cents) and 1 million or more. I posted my last bill from Germany (Notgeld) : https://goccf.com/t/175585

Interesting areas. Especially the older Canadians are awesome. The Bank of Montreal or the La Banque Nationale bills are awesome.
