Very attractive piece! Hard to believe the Edwards occupy such a small numismatic niche. It's tough to get the hair detail and lustre is always a bonus. Good pick!
I'm really not building a collection of Canadian cents either large or small but I have a small collection of Canadian coins. My interest in them started a long time ago when I got a 1920 large cent in circulation during the late 40's and I carried it around as a lucky piece for a number of years. I was born In the UP of Michigan and grew up in Detroit so I ran into coins from Canada a lot and the ones I liked I kept. I Have a lot of the silver dollars and some of the commemorative dollars from the Canadian mint. I concentrated on coins from the USA for most of my life but that collection is about maxed out and in the update phase every year when the new ones are issued. I am currently building a set of Great Britain coins in a type set from 1800 to 1970 when they went to the decimal system.
