I though this would be interesting for all out there.

I am to understand that this type of 2 Mint Mark coin is known but is said to be very rare. I just went thought 5000 unc Federal Reserve (D) rolls and found (2) I am sure of only 2 things! A) your eyes will go dead! and B) That if the coin is not an upper AU or UNC you will never see it.

I thought at first it might be the 1956D-1OM-001, but after copmparing photos, decided it is NOT. I was also thinking a possible clash, but after checking the clash areas that would leave that type remnant, I have also decided it is NOT a clash remnant. While I haven't heard of that "other type" of MM. I can'y say it doesn't exist. I am not that experienced, nor have been a variety collector that long. Check with coppercoins, or one of the members on coppercoins.com. I'm sure some of the old-timers can help.
