SaintRidley Pillar of the Community United States 592 Posts	Posted 05/25/2012 12:22 am I rather like the look of Canadian coins and so when I get them in my change here I set them aside. I can't rightly say I remember how I wound up with some of what I have - my loonies and toonies have no explanation for their presence in my collection. I think Canada's trying to invade it. trout1105 Pillar of the Community Australia 7096 Posts	Posted 05/25/2012 12:35 am I only started collecting Canadian coins this year and have a decent collection of 50 cents and quite a few other coins Thanks to UGLY who started me off with these. I enjoy the designs especially the older coppers as they have the same obverses as the Aussie coins and are readily available in better condition than our own pennies and halfpennies. I have no chance whatsoever of getting these in my pocket change so I have to ebay noodle to get what I want. They compliment my Aussie and US collections, Anyway I just plain like em Report this Post to the Staff

And I bought some blue Whitman coin holders, a few years ago, and filled them up as best as I could from circulation. I'm in search of the 2012 cents and bought some non-magnetic rolls.
