Thanks, stewart. I was so happy with that purchase that I also bought a 1976-S Silver Ike (MS-66) from the same seller. These coins look every bit as good as the photos suggest. Again, a beautiful coin (seller photos):   I am well on my way to completing my PCGS Ike set! Edited by Darth Morgan

I started out with several Ikes I found among my mother's things recently, thought I'd add to the collection with this one. Love this coin... your thoughts on the grade would be much appreciated...   |

Officially, what types are considered part of a complete collection of Eisenhower dollars? Is the list in the official Red Book considered the complete collection? Here is the list I have compiled. I have 34 listed, but the Red Book lists 31. Am I correct on this? Do not forget that the 1971-S to 1974-S 40% silver dates have two coins listed per line (uncirculated and proof). The Red Book also lists (without a value) the 1976-S Variety 2 40% silver (since all are supposed to be Variety 1). |

If you count the '72 varietys, then there's more than 32 coins. It depends on how you want view the set as a collector. |
