He also erroneously calls it an "Olympics" coin - it's for the Commonwealth Games, Melbourne 2006, not the Olympics. docmartens New Member Australia 8 Posts	Posted 03/01/2010 05:43 am Yes, the Commonwealth Games were held in Melbourne, Australia in 2006, and this was our commemorative coin to mark the event. Don't have the mintage figures, but it is a common coin. If you pair it up with the 1982 50c coin which marks the Games that were held in Brisbane, then you have some nice history but not a lot of value. There was also a set of 50c coins in 2006 devoted to each sport. They have a bit more value. Cheers Doc Report this Post to the Staff
