The beginning of this month, I purchased a lot of LWCs from ebay just to see what I would get. Due to some holidays and shipping issues, it just got to me Saturday. I opened it up last night and was perplexed.

The lot was about five pounds of cents packed in two large plastic sheets. This is not odd in itself, but when I got them out all of them were covered in white granules.

At first I thought a desiccant packet had broken open, but that wasn't the case.I assume it was salt, but I'm not positive. This was definitely done deliberately, but for the life of me I can't figure out why. Good news it all came off with a quick soak, and the lot looks like a good buy. I'll let you know what I find when I'm finished with it

Did you get it from one of the main bulk "unsearched" LWC sellers on ebay?
