Here is the breakdown:

•Cent rolls have 50 coins; $0.50 value
•Nickel rolls have 40 coins; $2.00 value
•Dime rolls have 50 coins; $5.00 value
•Quarter rolls have 40 coins; $10.00 value
•Half Dollar rolls have 20 coins; $10.00 value
•Dollar rolls have 25 coins; $25.00 value

AND:

A bank box of pennies is $25, a box of nickels is $100, a box of dimes is $250 and boxes of half dollars or quarters are $500.

AND.....HERE'S SOMETHING ELSE TO "FLUMMOX" YOU FOR AWHILE ! ...

Quote:
COIN PROBLEMS
1. A box contains 5 times as many dimes as nickels. The total amount in the box is $2.20. How many coins
of each type are in the box?
2. In Ken's pocket there are 3 times as many quarters as dimes. In all he has $1.70 in coins. How many
coins of each type does he have?
3. There are twice as many nickels as pennies and 5 times as many dimes as pennies in Joan's drawer. In all
she has $1.22. How many coins of each type does she have?
4. Monica has three times as many nickels as pennies and twice as many quarters as nickels. In all she has
$3.32. How many coins of each type does she have?
5. Mitch put $4.55 in dimes and quarters on his desk. He has 7 more quarters than dimes. Find the number
he has of each coin.

That part.....well.......the majority of "roll searchers" DO NOT like doing Dimes. If you have good eye sight going in.....you won't when your done with a box of Dimes ! ....
There are certainly a few who find the occasional Silver Dime (or other abnormality !)....but it isn't often enough to warrant the great effort, time, and energy in pursuing those. The "rewards" need to be a little more often for most of us to "keep at it", and most don't get that "reward" from doing Dimes.
