Went through $1200 in rolls tonight. On the 12th to last roll I found these. http://picasaweb.google.com/1074358...7x4uoudqZOw#1946 - 4 1947 - 2 1948 - 4 1951 - 1 1957 - 2 1964 - 36 Most in BU condition. Thats just 1 roll! Other finds from the $1200 include: 1 - '47, 1 - '48, 1 - '51, 1 - '59, 1 - '63, 4 - '64. Its been a good day! |

hybes, what really gets me is, that I went to college in Grand Rapids for 4 years and never once did any roll hunting...
now I am in so cal and I am wanting to move back... lol

I made my first venture into dime roll searching yesterday! Got 10 CWR from the bank and found one silver,a 1954 D in decent shape. I think I will grab another 10 tonight if I get home in time. Just what I need ANOTHER ADDICTION/OBSESSION. But,hey, I am retiring in 5 weeks so I might as well get revved up for all my spare time(I will have spare time won't I?)

My finds average out the same, whether handrolled or CWI boxes. I now only pick up the occasional bag of handrolled, just to feed the monkey on my back. Unless I'm ordering 12 boxes at a time, it's just cheaper for me to pay 12 x face for silver. Thats figuring 1 silver dime per $150 searched. I keep telling myself I'm a collector first, and that $ doesn't matter, but I gotta be real.ffd
