nod2003 Pillar of the Community United States 3294 Posts	Posted 03/09/2010 2:10 pm The image is too small to see what the date is (maybe 1924?) so I can not tell you if it is rare, but I can tell you that this coin (commonly called a Buffalo nickel), does not contain silver.
