What's the "known population" of this note? Sap's initial analysis was about 50 and how does your notes "grade" compare to the known population (this is key)? Subtract out the ones in the museums and government collections as they rarely "ever" come to market. Chances are its nil.

Also it may be worth taking a second look at the grading itself (can it be bumped up?). I would spend a lot of time researching these 2 points by your self and some how confirming it as you and your family have decided to hold. I re read all the old posts and do not see these 2 particular points being raised.

That's a blast that your family has decided to hang on to the note. Now the one's who had the opportunity will not have the same chance for a while. Also if anyone approaches you and your family in a year or so I would tell them that you want a lot more than your initial 25K and I am not being silly.

Just please make sure you store them properly. It would be terrible to pull them out in 10 years and have them fall apart from incorrect storage.
