Quite a few WW2 American servicemen brought 'funny money' back from Oz, just as when I brought an almost complete set of States quarters back to Oz, when I visited a family in Nevada.
It is a London Die Obverse (as all 1919's are) and the reverse has curved based lettering. The last 9 is upright as opposed to leaning left or leaning right (which I believe exists as I have examples. Cheers.
