I don't think it's childish at all. The man certainly has the right to defend himself against silly accusations made from a lousy photo.

You know, I just don't get you guys. You whip this thing into a mob-like frenzy, and cost me a legitimate sale to someone who really wanted it. As far as immediately getting back to someone with a question: I work, too, and I do not have my computyer on all of the time, and I do not appreciate the personal aspersions cast my way because of narrow-minded individuals.

If anyone wants a quick education of ANY coin: log onto H's website and look in their Auction Archives. P-L-E-N-T-Y of 1921-D Merc Dimes pop-up, and in all grades. There, you may enlarge the pics to see the minutest details. If any of you who had pontificated the "Counterfeitedness" of this item had bothered to do just that, you would have seen that your worries were all for naught.

I wouldn't really care at all about this, except that one or two of you took it upon yourself(ves) to make sure that NO ONE would have an opportunity to buy it. You've done me and the potential high bidder a great disservice. Think about that.
