I have a 1999 Proof Silver Eagle which I believe would certify a PF70......I mean the thing is perfect! The coin is still in the clear holder. How should I still go about packaging it for submitting? What is the value for such a coin if it were to receive a perfect 70?

The TPG require you to put them in a Mylar flip with the number of the submission line on their form.

coins92, I really don't intend on discouraging you...but I own THREE 1999 Silver Eagles that look perfect to me. I mean PERFECT. They are inside of NGC PF-69 Ultra Cameo slabs. Worth about $50 each.

To a dealer, the buy back is the same whether it's raw or certified. Also it probably would help in getting a Proof 70 grade if you were a "big" customer.

I sent my 2008 still inside the airtite, and wrote on the submission slip I was afraid the thing would go flying if I tried to open it myself (airtites hate me). They didn't give me any grief over it.

If your 1999 Silver Eagle Proof came back from NGC or PCGS as PF-70 it would be worth about $600.
