I need some help with this one.
I'm thinking very good details; however, the date is nearly worn away, so I don't know if I should grade it VG8, or reduce the grade because of the date. Help!!

I would give it a F-12, it's tough grading pre-1925 SLQ's, since the date is not recessed.
Rest in Peace

This looks a lot like mine. TPGs are inconsistent in grading these, but lately they have been quite tough on ones when little date detail remains. Solid VG+ details, but likely to get an AG-3/G-4 from a TPG.

I think 'Good' because of the date issue, the TPG's focus on that above all else, it seems.
