Yeah.....I roll search qtrs. A LOT nowadays....so, if they show up....I hope I have a chance at some rolls ! I'd be happy with about 10 - P's and 10 - D's in BU...... That would make my albums and put a few away for posterity and preservation for future albums. What is "likely" to happen, is that I'll just come across mostly single D's for about 1 to 3 years until I see my first P. Then it's condition will be so crappy and beat up, that I'll have to roll search "and find" about 85 P's in order to find ONE QUALITY BU ONE TO GO IN THE ALBUM ! .....

eaglefoot: You may get a whole box of BUs like you did with the DC quarters. I'm sure there will be a lot of demand on CCF.

What if the mint will help out the postal service's.Nowadays with free s/h on internet orders, free bill pay online(no stamp needed)slow economy, and the postal service having to down size alot lately maybe the mint's distribution channels will change and make it harder for people/states around the mississippi river to complete a p&d pair set or rolls out of circulation and they will only distribute them on the far west coast & east coast, and other park qtrs to come will be distributed in the middel of the u.s. and people will have to pay $.47 & more for rolls for s/h to swap to keep postal business strong, imho that would make collectors forget about collecting them thus make fewer gem bu sets & make the premium much greater for gem bu complete p&d sets because mintages will be far less than the state qtrs just a thought

Quote: No need to open up P+D Mint Rolls!
I'm not getting any Two Roll Sets " to" open ! .... For the "circulating quality" 10 coin Set for $10.00 (plus shipping)....hmmmm. this IS interesting......but it still seems expensive ! (Over a dollar apiece!) Especially because I'm gonna need 4 or 5 P's and 4 or 5 D's of each and every Qtr. ! ...... ! Man !.. .....am I sure gonna miss gettin' em' for face value ! .....

The new mint program will probably be cheaper than buying singles from a dealer or from ebay although if you're doing 4 or 5 sets you may be better off with the 2 roll sets. That being said I still haven't opened my 2 roll set just in case banks start getting some rolls.

Interesting. Those prices are a little steep, but I fear that RPT is probably correct (about it still being cheaper than the secondary market).
