Nod is right. Numismatically speaking, such coloring is considered post-mint damage.

I should note that they are worth $.25 to a coin collector. As a novelty, they could be worth more if you can find someone interested in such things.

I'd say they're worth .25 to the bearer...less to anyone that would pay to have them shipped.

At least in the USA it's post mint damage. In Canada they damage them at the mint to save you the time.

Imo some of the colorized coins look better but no way would I pay over face for them.
