Definitely fake. If it were real, it would be worth several million dollars.

There are a total of 19 1804 dollars known. There are of 6 of the type in your picture. The chance that the person you are talking to has one of the six is zero. If it was real he'd be selling through a Heritage auction (or something similar) and could expect to get $1 million at a bare minimum.

Me too since that is a hole I could never fill unless I inherited $100 million from an as yet unknown relative. Maybe its that prince in Nigeria who keeps pestering me by email :)
