Where would I find the values of US fractional notes from the late 1800s? I do not know very much at all about the grading and value of paper money and I really won't be getting into it too much, but I find the fractional notes interesting and wanted to pick up a few. I just want to pick up a few examples and I know they can range in price so I am trying to find a good place to find a value that would be a fair purchase price. I would just be getting lower grade examples. Thanks for any help in finding some or finding their valuation.

Anybody know a good place to grab some "beat-up" and cheap fractional notes? I think they look more interesting when they are well worn and well-used, and I don't really care about the collectors "value" on them so I don't need them to be in good shape, just some cool examples. Thanks for any help.

I would just try ebay. Probably you will spend about $20 per note for the beat ones.

Some of the really beat ones on ebay go for just a couple of bucks.
