I found my second steel no-P cent over the weekend. Unfortunately it's not as nice as the first; this one has tarnish or some sort of stain on it. I'll post images this week.

Found an MS60...maybe 61 in a roll of pennies the other day. Put it on ebay already but I think I might have to get it certified to move it.

What did your ebay auction end at?

I sold a AU-55 for 100 dollars this morning. It could even be an MS if I got it slabbed, but I feel these coins are going to decrease in value as I think the population is higher than everyone thinks. Or I might be getting robbed. I am not really into metallic variety coins but I hope the guy that bought it gets good value out of it. I have another one on ebay that I would say is about a 60 or 61 that I am hoping to get atleast 150 for. We will see, I may have to get it certified to move it.

I agree -- they're probably not as rare as the hype suggests.

Sold both for 100 bucks. The second one can probably get graded at 62-63, maybe the purchaser will turn around and sell it for 500 bucks. I try to find them when I am roll searching, so I know they are relatively rare, by my estimates of searching through tens of thousands of coins in the last 6-8 months I would say its a 1 in 7-10,000.

Your population estimate syncs with what I've found. Should that population hold true what do you think the AU and the MS you have are worth?

Well I sold them both for 100 bucks. I see them on ebay at 65 for ridiculous amounts, but they aren't moving. Right now I believe there are 10-12 listed in various conditions. When the dust settles down the road I think they will be a solid investment but I don't think they will hold that kind of long term value. I would gladly pay 40-50 bucks for a 65 right now to hang onto but I will not spend 500. Just not a fan of metallic varieties, but I could be wrong in my assessment.

Found another one yesterday in about a 40, maybe a 45. Listed on ebay for 19.99 to start. Free non insured shipping. Hoping to get atleast 50 bucks for it.

Based on the mintage and my estimation for a number of solid months of search tens of thousands of pennies, I would say the population of this coin is in the neighborhood of 15-20k. I would say 2/3 are likely still in circulation. Anyone else have any assessments?

I've only started buying rolls of pennies from the bank, $5 or so dollars worth at a time, and haven't conciously checked every cent for a long time, but have watched out for the No P magnetic and I haven't found a one as yet, not in change or rolls, and I live in Canada all along. I always get pennies in change and often 2006. But not THE ONE!
I currently have a lot of 2006 varities (about $10 worth probably, and not a one of that one YET. I still keep hoping ;) I'm more organized in how I sort and check now.
My bank told me I could call in on Monday and every Tuesdays they place their coin orders, and they could order a box ($25) for me and I'd have it by the Thursday if I ordered. Don't know if I can spring for a box right now, but would like to sometime.
The stores HATE being paid in pennies or buying them off you. Did you know that in Canada I think businesses can legally refuse to take more than 25 pennies at once. The local Giant Tiger also won't accept any rolled coins at all (claiming it's against store policy) so I guess its back and forth to my bank after picking what I want.
I really like getting change from Petrocan (gas station and convenience store) as its often a real mix of dates, and Canada and US change. I'm really enjoying US pennies! Would like to find an Indian Head. Sometimes I find Wheaties, not often though.
And always hoping for a magnetic No P. Its bound to happen eventually. I suspect they ARE scarce!
BIG congrats on your finds!

What about CoinStar? They take 10 cents off each dollar but they will accept your pennies and the good news is you dont even have to roll them.
