I have found 3 in the last couple years. The average is probably about 1 for every 40 boxes I search. They are fun to find but are usually valued at less than $2.00 so it means very little. It is much easier to buy them from your local coin store for $1.00 - $3.00 for common stuff... Sincerely, John Leckrone

It's all about the thrill of finding one! Maybe I'll buy a cheap one and seed my own rolls so I can refind it. LOLOL

$550, Thad, OMG. Was that the one you sent off for grading? If I remember right, it graded MS-64/65? Great sale! And what did you buy with the windfall? Jim

Yep, it came back NGC MS-65 RD....my best roll find ever! I still have the MS-62/63 one my friend gave me, so the 65 had to go. I've been buying stupid, little crap I've needed with the money...no coins. I'll end up blowing it all on other things I need besides coins. Lately I've need money for a lot of expenses and the like....my coin collection is getting smaller. I'm seriously thinking of selling 90% of my stuff and using the money to fund other things in life.

I found one, a 1901 in Good condition, but it has some scratches on the obverse. I did a happy dance when I found it! I've searched around 20 boxes, I think, and all within the past year.
