Need some experts to look at this coin and holder before I do anything like make a bid on it. Something about the holder that doesn't look right. Need your help looking at this and making a decision. Just put a topic in looking to buy section on CCF and this pops up on ebay. Does it look real? It the right coin in the minimum grade I need.

I don't have a problem with it, but that opinion is tied to my knowledge of the seller as much as anything else. I don't care for that seller's washed-out photography or occasional over-hype, but there are fans of hers on this forum and I've never seen a reason to distrust her ethics.

At least, buyers have called her a "her" here....just sayin'. ;{)]

The S is really washed out on the reverse. Never saw a mint mark that beat up on an AU50. Thats what is stopping me also. Need more input guys. Only got 7 hours.

I see what you mean. That "S" kind of looks like a blob.

The MM isn't a problem as these on morgans are notorious for this type of look. I think the coin is fine and have never heard anyone have problems with the seller either

Authentic or not the seller has broken the rules by displaying a price guide in the listing.

Thanks to all for your input. Decided to turn down that particular coin because of the blobbed mint mark. I also saw that she had similar coins for sale and am looking into the rest of her inventory. Really appreciate all your input. It helps me a lot.

Thanks
