I picked up 3 rolls of Millard Fillmore and did not find even one coin without scratches. I never even got to the reverse. The obverse were bad enough. Is the mint offering MS coins or only proof? I received my first set of presidential proofs and they are just beautiful. Compared to the statehood proofs, the presidential proofs are much easier on the eyes and show a lot of detail.

I have open a lot of rolls and it is hard to get some nice grade coins.

The mint has Satin finished in the mint sets .. those are what I put in my album.

No problem

How bad were the coins. Even MS-65 coins can have a mark.

I have opened a lot of rolls, of Presidential dollar. I would have to say that I have never found any high grade examples. That is why I decided to put proof and satin finish coins in my dansco. And put the ones I keep from rolls in 2X2's.

(and finding "both" mints in your area in good condition (in a business strike is EVEN HARDER ---- actually IMPOSSIBLE !)

I have a Proof only Whitman album, that's pretty nice with the plastic sliders just like Dansco. I'll maintain that and leave it as is. But I may buy a Dansco to do another one with Proof and P&D Satins in it. I also do a few folders with just "D" mints...just for fun and to help out fledgling young collectors in my family.
So, I think I'll have the " Presidential dollar Collection" more than covered ! .....or at least as far as " I " want to take it anyway.....
