Looks normal to me. Lighting can make things appear that are not really there especially if you get light from a second source.

I don't think it's lighting coop. I've fallen for that before.

Hopefully, this shows it a little better. I think I see notching on the "E" and "T".

I find the are interesting too, but I know very little about what can happen w/plated cents.

I agree the top of the are and B both show what looks to be doubling, IMHO.

the quality of the plated surface probably contributed to that strike...I dont think it's DD.
