It's in the wrong category to begin with.

That's weird. It just says the auction has ended right now, with no bids. It was over $36 with more than 2 days to go. Maybe they're ( ebay) just in the process of getting rid of it.

The seller is re-listing, with the engraved "COPY" picture added.

Well, that's just dumb. He's still not allowed to sell copies of Canadian coins, marked or not. I guess I'll have to report the new one too.

The seller pulled the auction. He has been warned as to the error of his ways. He has purchased many coins from the Chinese manufacturer of the 48. Typical Coin dealer attempting to profit........p.s. 99% of coin dealers are crooks IMHO

They finally responded to my initial reporting and removed the listing.

Thats scary. I have two 1948's and I hope to sell one of them in the next few weeks. Hope this doesn't hurt their value.

Stunet It won't hurt the value the mintage is too low for a genuine coin to be devalued, though it does make a good case for TPG who also verify coins
