You cannot imagine how much this tutorial helped. I wanted to play in the last game but couldn't understand the game or the power ball thing.

Good! Yeah, the powerball thing was a little messy. But, once you have the game down, it's just another twist or variation. I really liked svslavs rotaing answer game - that was fun!
Now that you understand a little bit better, maybe you should go back and review Mastermind 1 or 2, and play along. It would be good practice before tomorrow's game!

Quote: Yer killing me ! What is the answer ? Quote: Blue, Pink, Yellow, White - Final answer Correct! unnkown95, Tomorrow's game will be just like the tutorial. I will choose 4 colors out of the 9. After that, we go back to currencies, but the concept remains the same.

Come to think of it Mastermind 1 might not be the best example. I dropped the ball on a couple clues. I think the posts were all corrected, but it still might be messy.

Quote: Yer killing me ! What is the answer ? Glad I'm not the only addict who's jonesin'! The only trouble with the currencies is if you don't use a computer spreadsheet, you're gonna need a LOT of PAPER.

Hang in there xshift! I expect tomorrow's game to be very short and may possibly throw up MM XIII on Monday.
It will be a straight forward game with no crazy variations with a moderate currency list (to allow for those 0/0's!). I want to water it down a little to get some players and we'll worry about distorted games later.
And you're right, a spreadsheet does help a lot!

Thanks for playing! I was within minutes of cancelling this game. Quote: Blue, Orange, Pink, Green You have 1 color right and it is not in the right place, so 1/0. I haven't established a time frame on guessing yet because I wanted to see how many people were going to play. So, for starters, let's go with 1 hour. I expect this puzzle to be solved in 5-7 guesses and may change that if a few more people chime in.

LOL! I said I was starting at noon today! Quote: Red,Blue,Orange,Indigo 1/0 - one of the colors are right, but it is not in the right position. I may change the rule soon, but for now, wait one hour and you can post another guess.
