just getting off to the salt mines. I haven't had a chance to see the guesses from yesterday evening but I hope to catch up and get a guess in before this gets solved this morning. 90 minutes and counting - it takes nearly 45 to get to work.

yes!I cannot believe it, well I can believe it and I'm thrilled. I was so confused yesterday when you all were talking about having 24 or less and such. I had 26. I couldn't figure out how you got to 24 or less. I almost went for rikcando's spreadsheet! Doing the happy dance!!

to answer unknown's question - I could never be certain until I saw the flags. However, that said, had that answer not been right I would have been at a loss for what to do next. The way I had 'calculated' the guesses had me on this singular path. LOL
Thank you so much scooby for hosting the contest.
I am thrilled to have joined the ranks of previous winners. I have to tell you though (true confessions time), that your tutorial actually helped me with a piece of logic I was totally missing the last times I played. I would get really lost when I would see some of the guesses because I was missing a subtly that seemingly everyone else had gotten.
