I have been unsuccessful in finding any information on this silver medal 33mm, 17.5 grams by Luner Bros in 1897 commemorating the 100th birthday of Wilhelm 1. The only place I have been able to find medals by L.C. Luner is in the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich London and they do not have this medal.

The bronze medal with yellow ribbon commemorating his 100th birthday was mass produced and can be found easily..Any info on this silver medal is appreciated.. Thanks in advance..

So run rabbit run rabbit, run run run! That song was used a couple of years ago for a TV tourist advertisement for the State of Victoria, Australia.

You cannot bear arms in Australia without very many and severe restrictions. My young son once asked "Why can't they arm bears?"

Pity I can't help you with mintage numbers, but I wouldn't mind that medal in my collection!
